Forward planning and design are the most important elements to get right in the garden making process. I like to spend time in the garden and then begin with an informal chat to discuss what the client wants.

We begin by surveying the area to be redesigned. This is a garden survey and it will include a report on flora, climatic conditions, soil conditions, as well as other elements such as structures etc. Another meeting will then take place to discuss the area in more detail. At this meeting a checklist will be compiled, and a basic plan of action will be formulated.

Then a concept garden plan can be drafted, and depending on the scale and nature of the contract, initial specifications and costs can be produced.

A well designed garden is nothing without a professional gardening aftercare team. This service allows us to edit the garden throughout the seasons. Pruning, as well application of fertilizers and herbicides are just examples of some of the tasks carried out during the maintenance process.
